Mini Chloe!

Hi everyone, I had a little play with one of Pink Gem Designs card topper kits today called Mini Chloe!
I opened it up in my Silhouette Cameo software and used the print and cut feature to cut out all the elements which worked a treat and meant I didn't even need a pair of scissors!

I layered everything up with Pinflair glue and thats about it, a very quick and simple card!

Monkey Love!

Good afternoon everyone, I decided to get my hubby's valentines card made and this weeks Freshly Made Sketch was just perfect for the image I had in mind!

I got this adorable love you monkey image from Digistamp Boutique the other day especially for the occasion!

I coloured him with Copics and added lots of Glossy Accents to his heart. I then added some faux stitching. I tried a new technique for the wording by using a Silhouette Sketch Pen in my Cameo instead of a blade and I got the sketch font from the Silhouette Store - LW Tall Sketch. It makes a really nice alternative to stamping or using the computer!

Ellies In The Frame!

Morning everyone, I am back as promised to show you the framed gift I made to go with my previous post. I had another go at cutting out fabric with my Cameo and this is how it turned out.

Sorry for the bad pic but it was hard to photograph and it is actually straight in real life! I used the same baby elephant file as on my card previously but this time I cut it out of fabric on my Cameo. I then created the wording using my computer, added some faux stitching and some googley eyes to the Ellies! A very simple keepsake for a new baby and thankfully mum loved it!

Baby Ellie!

Evening everyone, ooh it is so cold today, I hope you are all wrapped up safe and warm at home!
Now I have given up saying that I have got back to crafting normally as every time I do something else crops up and I get behind again so from now on I will just pop by whenever I can which will hopefully be more often than of late.
I have another baby card for you today. A friend of mine gave birth to a little baby boy yesterday so I put my trusty cameo to good use to make a quick and simple card.

I found this great onesie shaped card design by Lori Whitlock on the Silhouette store and then I added this cute little elephant design by Pebbles In My Pocket. To finish I cut out the wording also on my cameo and created some faux stitching using a white gel pen.

I will be back to share a framed gift I made to celebrate the new arrival too, I just need to photograph it first! Thanks for looking!

Baby Bump!

Morning everyone, it's a very dull and dreary day here, hope it is better where you are! Anyway I have a card to share with you that I made for a girl who is leaving my work to have a baby.

I used this gorgeous image form Digistamp Boutique - Pregnant Emmy and coloured her with Copics. I paper pieced her dress to match and the sentiment is computer generated. She knows she is having a boy which is why I chose blue! I finished off with a little faux stitching.

Something New For 2015

Good morning everyone, I hope you have all had a magical Christmas and wishing you all a Happy New year! I took a little blogging break over Christmas but I am back now starting with this card for our first challenge of 2015 over at

Our first theme of the year is "Something New"

The prize as always is  2 Individual Digi images
(NO SETS, PERSONALISED WATERMARK'S OR SENTIMENT SETS)
of the winners choice from PINK GEM DESIGNS.....

I used this gorgeous Girl Bear Buggy image available HERE!

I used the pre-coloured version but layered it up and added some Glitter. I teamed it up with the matching set of Digi Papers - Baby Girl Bears also from Pink Gem Designs. I then created a sentiment using my computer and added some buttons to finish.

Thanks for looking, will be round to catch up with you all over the next few days!
