Milestone Birthdays At A Gem Of A Challenge!

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well! I am here to share this card with you for our new challenge over at

Our theme is "Milestone Birthdays" to help fellow team mate Wendy celebrate her 40th birthday!

I used the gorgeous Bella with Bouquet from Pink Gem Designs and made another Watering Can using a my trusty Cameo the file is available here!

I coloured Bella with Copics and decorated the watering can with some papers from my stash. The flowers are from Hobbycraft and I cut out the 60 using my Cameo and some Glitter Card.

I used another Pink Gem Designs image for the sentiment - Someone Special. I used the pre-colourd version.

I do hope you can all join us at A Gem Of A Challenge this week!

Monkeying around!

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and have had a good summer so far! I have a quick card to share with you today which I made using a Silhouette Cameo file - Love Monkey Boy by Patty Young Designs. I did a lot of resizing and editing to turn him into a card blank and instead of holding a heart I made the name and numbers on my Cameo for him to hold. I thought it made a cute boys card!

I also added some googly eyes to make him more fun!

Jaffa Giraffe In Stitches!

Good morning everyone, long time no see again! We were away for a few days at a wedding last week so I am still playing catch up but I am here today with a card for this weeks challenge over at

and the theme is Stitching Real Or Faux!

Now you all know how I love faux stitching and this gorgeous new image from Pink Gem Designs - Jaffa Giraffe was just perfect!

I used the pre-coloured version of Jaffa but I printed him out a few times and layered him up for some dimension. The papers are from a Hobbycraft paper pad and I created the faux stitching using a Cutter Bee Bug piercing tool and an Inkssentials white opaque pen! I also rounded the corners with an X-Cut corner punch and finished with a banner and a stamped sentiment from my stash.

So get out those sewing machines and piercing tools and come and join us at A Gem Of A Challenge!

An apple a day...!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well! I have a little card to share with you today which I made a while ago but never got round to blogging! I used an old Pollycraft image which unfortunately is no longer available as they have closed down but she was just perfect for this pre-school teacher thank you card I needed to make!

The apple card blank was made using a Silhouette Cameo file by Lori Whitlock. It was supposed to be a gift card holder but I adapted it to work as a card. I coloured the image with Copics and added a strip of paper from my stash and a stamped sentiment to the tag. I finished off with some card candy!

Blue Rosette!

Morning everyone, I had a play with this week Freshly Made Sketch...
...and came up with this using a Layered Rosette Silhouette Cameo cutting file by Lori Whitlock.

I cut out the base of the rosette using vellum to make it more delicate and then simply layered everything else with some pale blue and white card stock. I then added some faux stitching and a Hero arts sentiment to finish.

April Showers!

Morning everyone, hope you have not all melted away with this heatwave, phew!
It's time for a new challenge at

For my take on the theme I have used this Pink Gem Designs fabulous freebie "April Showers"

I coloured him using Copics. I paper pieced his hat and umbrella using some Echo Park papers - Sweet Day. I cut out the wording using my Cameo and then added some faux stitching and a button from my stash to finish!
